Overnight Oatmeal
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Refrigerate overnight
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup rolled oats (not quick-cooking or steel-cut)
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- Pinch cinnamon
- Pinch nutmeg
- ¼ tsp almond extract
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp coconut crystals (or other natural sweetener)
- ½ banana
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients except banana and almonds in an 8 oz. glass Mason jar. Shake.
- Chop banana into small pieces. Mix into jar.
- Refrigerate jar 10-12 hours, or overnight.
- Before eating, remove metal lid to heat in microwave until warm, about 1 minute. Add additional almond milk to desired consistency. Top with slivered almonds. Enjoy!
